FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS
to OVER 25 YEARS OF SERVICE

It all began in 1998

Our company was initially formed in April of 1998, with 3 owners, Steve Mueller, Jason Viebrock, and Dan Thiel.  We began doing landscaping projects with a small Ford L7000 single-axle dump truck, a Bobcat 853, a tandem-axle trailer, and a lot of desire to succeed. Our small company began to grow immediately, and soon, Steve and Dan bought out Jason's interest in the company and positioned it to be focused in the small to mid-size project market.

2001

As we developed great customer relations we realized that we could offer more services that were needed, and so started doing flatwork concrete projects as well, which complemented the landscaping services that we offered.  Soon, the concrete side of our business was growing as fast as the landscaping side was.

2005

We took a leap of faith and bought a significant amount of topsoil from some construction sites, and to this day, still sell screened/pulverized topsoil to our customers.

2008

In the next few years we started to move into the excavation business and bought some larger-scale equipment like wheel loaders, dozers, and backhoes.  This line of work continues to grow for us, as does the size of the equipment needed to support it.

2012

In August of 2012 we purchased the property at 651 State Highway 35 and moved our base of operations to that location.  It was a big move for us that gave us a great deal of exposure, and a place to park all of the various trucks, trailers, and equipment that we continue to accumulate as our business grows.

2013

In 2013 we had taken on the sitework, concrete, and landscaping for the renovation of the Osceola High School athletic complex.  We take great pride in being able to work for our hometown folks, and produce a result that helps our community set itself apart from surrounding ones.  Every time we drive by the complex on Highway 35, we can smile and know that we had a big part in making it the wonderful facility that it is.

2014

In 2014 we were named a finalist for Equipment World’s Contractor of the Year. Read the article.

2014

Also in 2014, Steve and Dan started a succession plan with two long term employees, Bob Meyer and Matt Adam. Bob and Matt were brought in as partners to work alongside Steve and Dan to ensure a smooth transition and a stable future for the company and it’s team.

2015

We added back offices and a new shop giving us much needed room and a space to maintain our growing fleet of trucks and equipment.

2018

In 2018 we added around 4,000 linear feet of concrete sidewalks for the Village of Osceola that improved and expanded the sidewalks throughout the village and made areas like the local schools and the Gateway Meadows neighborhood more accessible.

2019

In 2019 co-founder Dan Thiel decided to hang up his work boots and power down his computer. As Dan retired we celebrated all his hard work and leadership. We were also excited to build upon the foundation he helped create.

2020

In 2020 our concrete crew took on another large sidewalk project for the Village of Siren, completing over 5,000 linear feet of sidewalk.

2022

In 2022 our excavation crew started work on our largest housing development to date, excavating for 35 new lots on a 140 acre property.

2023

In 2023 we celebrated our 25 years in business. We hosted a party for all of our customers and employees to attend and to thank them for their support over the years. We look forward to serving our local communities for many more years to come.

Over these last several years we have continued to grow, increasing our capabilities every step of the way. With new employees and new equipment we have been able to expand what our crews can handle.

Today we offer concrete work, excavation, landscaping materials, hauling, and snow removal services to the wonderful people of western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.  Our commitment to our community and surrounding areas continues as strong as ever, and we support many philanthropic organizations in our area.
